Latest additions to the database - last updated 2024/03/04:

More companies from the Reichsbetriebskartei were added to the database. The processing of the inventory R 3/2001 with the provinces of East Prussia and Mark Brandenburg was completed with 563 entries.

About 500 new companies were included in the database. The source "Firmenliste der Ledererzeugenden Industrie nach Wirtschaftskammerbezirken und Reichsbetriebsnummern" (BArch, R 13-XIII/269) was completely recorded as far as possible. Unfortunately, my copy of one of the pages of the document is so blurred that the companies listed on it are not readable and could not be included in the database. If anyone has copies of this list or has the opportunity to view them in the Bundesarchiv, I would be grateful if this page can be made available to me.

English version of the website now available. To switch the language from German to English or vice versa, use the menue in the top right corner. Unless your Browser language is set to German you are automatically redirected to the english version when you first vist the website.
